This week, Year 3 have had a fantastic week of learning in History as they continued their topic on Ancient Greece. Their focus was Greek literature, where they explored Homer’s Odyssey and learnt about the different genres of Greek theatre. To bring their learning to life, the children acted out performances using traditional-style masks, demonstrating great enthusiasm and creativity throughout the week.

As part of their Art learning, the children also painted their own Greek pottery designs, inspired by the patterns and styles used in Ancient Greece.
