Year 6 had a fantastic day at the STEM event today at the Beacon of Light. They got to work with many different companies today, looking closely at what they do and how it makes a difference to us and the world. The children got the opportunity to look at satellites, the solar system, electrical engineering companies, how to save energy, exporting oil, virtual-reality headsets just to name a few. The children were all so enthusiastic and eager to learn lots of new things. A great day with the children, as always, being a credit to our school.
