This admissions policy has been formally adopted by the governing body of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Gateshead. The governing body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for determining the school’s admissions arrangements. 

The Published Admission Number (PAN) for the school is 30. 

St Anne’s Catholic Primary School serves the parish of St Anne, Gateshead. 

How and when to apply

Applications must be made online via the Gateshead Council’s website. Applications must be completed by the closing date set by Gateshead Council. We have spaces available in all classes and visits to school are welcome and encouraged. Important Dates for September 2026 Admissions

8 September 2025The online admissions system opens for parents to apply at: www.gateshead.gov.uk/schooladmissions.
15 January 2026Closing date for submitting applications.
16 April 2026Email and letters are sent to parents informing them of the outcome of their application. 
22 May 2026Any places that become available will be offered from the schools waiting list.
