Year 3 are currently exploring the fascinating history of Ancient Persia and Greece. This week, they have been learning about city-states and the types of facilities you would have expected to find within them, such as theatres, temples and gymnasiums. They have discovered that each city-state was unique, with its own laws, systems of government and way of life. This has helped pupils understand how these early civilisations were organised and how they influenced the world we live in today.
