Year 3 have been learning about length and perimeter in Maths. During an engaging hands-on lesson, the children measured a variety of items around the classroom and practised using different units of measurement. They have developed their understanding of the differences between millimetres, centimetres and metres, and are becoming more confident in choosing the most appropriate unit when measuring objects.
