Year 1 have been learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and how he creates beautiful artwork using natural materials found outdoors. Inspired by his work, the children explored our outdoor area and worked collaboratively in groups to create their own nature faces using leaves, sticks, stones, flowers and other natural objects. The children showed fantastic creativity, teamwork and observation skills, producing some wonderful pieces of land art inspired by the natural world.
