This week, year two have learnt about number bonds to twenty, and addition and subtraction fact families in maths. We have also begun reading a new poem called ‘Please Mrs Butler’ and have learnt how to use poetic features in our own writing. We had a great day on Thursday celebrating World Mental Health Day. We discussed the different emotions we feel throughout the day, what we can do to keep our minds healthy and learnt strategies to help us overcome difficult emotions. We also learnt about Blessed Carlo Acutis who is in the process of becoming a saint and who will be the patron saint of our school’s trust. We shared our prayers to Carlo Acutis and thanked him for all the good he has done.
