We have had a great week continuing our story The Squirrels that Squabbled and learning new vocabulary linked to the book e.g. convinced.

Our new story next week is called Rosie’s Walk By Pat Hutchins which I would recommend you watching with your child at home on YouTube.

In maths we have been focusing on number 1, 2 and 3, subitising and making these numbers using different resources.

The children have amazed me with their knowledge and keenness to learn and complete the activities linked to our topics.

Children were a ray of sunshine in yellow yesterday to acknowledge Mental Health Day. They learned about different ways they can help themselves with their emotions if they are feeling sad or angry and enjoyed meditation activities. We also talked about things that make us happy to support a healthy mind.
