This week, Year 1 enjoyed an exciting science lesson exploring our outdoor area to look for common wild plants. The children carefully observed their surroundings, identifying plants such as dandelions, daisies and nettles. They used their senses to look closely at leaf shapes, colours, and sizes, developing their observation and enquiry skills. The lesson encouraged curiosity about the natural world and helped the children understand that plants grow in many different places, not just gardens. Year 1 showed great enthusiasm as young scientists while learning outdoors!
