As part of prayer and liturgy this week, Year 3 chose to reflect on St Angela Merici, as her feast day was celebrated this week. This linked closely with their RE topic, ‘Is Life a Journey?’, through which the children have been learning about feast days and how they link with the lives of saints.

The class decided to focus on St Angela Merici because of her vocation as an educator of young women, recognising how her life’s journey was shaped by faith, service and a commitment to education.
