Year 4 have celebrated the feast day of St Agnes this week. The children leading this worship chose a red cloth to show that she was a martyr who died for her beliefs. The children chose the scripture Psalm 23 ‘The Lord is my shepherd’ because St Agnes trusted God to guide and protect her throughout challenging times. We discussed the adversity she faced and the qualities she displayed in her life that we can take inspiration from, such as resilience, determination and her trust in God.
